Hi there all,

I just bought the Note2, can someone please tell me how I transfer all my apps from my S3 to the Note2.

In other words, how do I make my Note2 wallpaper, settings, apps etc look exactly like my S3.

Thanks

You must set it up again lol. In app store go to "my apps" and start reinstalling. Find your wallpaper and set it. It's the only way

Note 2, it's true, ,size is everything!

If you are rooted you can use Titanium Backup but if not you have to unfortunately reinstall everything. :-\

If you don't want to use Google account to backup, You can use an an app like astro to backup and restore apps. Not app data through, that requires root

Yea that suggestion is good for the future but right now there is no choice but to start over.

Since I'm new to rooting, I guess I wont fool around with it and leave it alone.

Here goes the long task of reinstalling the hundreds of apps ;)

I'm not sure if Carbon is compatible with the S3, since I don't own one, but Carbon works great with the Note 2. You can backup application data without being rooted. I've only needed it for a couple of applications and not all my appications, but for my own use it has worked great. I did a factory reset on my Note 2 and restored the applications I needed and had all the data back.

Carbon is the perfect application for non-rooted users.

Yes that's it.

This is one area that android really sucks in and it should have been native. The iOS feature for this is complete and reliable.
