Some people have said that a case limits accidental camera touches. I can't wait to get mine.Agreed. With my Spigen case on there it has made it pretty easy to find.

I Double Tap To Wake. My last few phones have unlocked this way so it was a great surprise to randomly discover I could do it on the s8+
I have Smart unlock enabled using my smartwatch and Bluetooth as trusted devices so I don't need the FPS etc. All I do now is Double Tap the virtual home button then swipe anywhere on the lock screen to unlock. It works fantastic
how do you do that on your S8, have a friend who was just complaining about not being able to do that.
Ok, so it's not double tap anywhere, that is what she was missing. But thanks for the quick response.Set up Smart unlock (have a Bluetooth device/home location/smart watch etc as a trusted device) so you don't need the fingerprint sensor or pin code etc to unlock the phone. I have Always On Display on and always show the home button. So when the phone is locked I just double tap on the virtual home button then swipe anywhere and the phone unlocks. It works great and is almost identical to my Lumia 950 xl or old LG G5.
Good idea did not think of that (the same finger twice)FPS and facial recognition and pin. FPS works well after you get the muscle memory for your fingertips to hit it.
Remember to record your finger and couple times so the S8 will learn more fingerprint variations.

Just hard press where the home button is. Even if it's not illuminated, it's still active. Just hard press.how do you do that on your S8, have a friend who was just complaining about not being able to do that.
Yea did this on my 6P. Just want to add that I think the S8 limits it to 4 fingers. I do 2 indexes from each hand so either hand can unlock with each more samples.Good idea did not think of that (the same finger twice)

Yeah.... you're crazyAm I the only crazy one, never lock my phones.
I have fingerprint an iris scanner active but I use the iris scanner to unlock my phone always. Its so fast and easy! Even works in the dark.
How do you unlock your phone?
