How does it feel to know the v10 can still keep up?

After watching the latest flagship phone annluncement, i look at my v10 and still choose it first. It makes me feel good to know that this phone has really been able to stand the test of time.

After looking at the 2016 releases, are you still v10 proud?

I've just recently got it so I'm in the honey moon phase lol. I'm really enjoying it, the size is one thing that needs getting used to, but I'm sure I will, as I have before. I even feel battery is getting ever so slightly better after couple of charges. We'll see. But I'd like to read answers from users that used it longer :)

Bought mine back when it first came out last fall. Had some issues like running hot, rapid battery discharge etc. Ended up trying a factory reset/restore, same thing...another factory reset/restore, same thing. Last time I decided to try that factory reset yet again. This time instead of restoring from backup I set it up as a new device. Phone has been absolutely perfect since. Great battery life, no more overheating. I am still quite happy with the V10 and have no plans to change devices in the near future, especially considering the choices out now like the G5 and it's cartridge system. No thanks. Happy where I am.

I've been watching the progression of smartphones for awhile now and I noticed they've sort of plateaued recently. I bought this phone with the idea that there won't be anything compelling enough to make me want to switch for a few years. So I got this phone because it looked like it would hold up well. The incremental changes manufacturers have been putting out just aren't interesting.

I guess the short answer is that I'm not surprised the V10 is still holding its own.

I kept LG Optimus G Pro for 2.5 years. The V10 is noticeably faster. So yeah, I would say, it can keep up.

My V10 has been performing spectacularly and even a bit on-par with my M8 when it comes to playing graphics-heavy games. The only real plus sides there are to getting a new device from this year's crop is USB Type-C and Quick Charge 3.0.

No complaints here... MM is a must have though. Anyone still stuck on LP is not experiencing this phones full capability and speed.

Such an underrated device.

Lgv10 is unsung hero.. even swapping out batteries for the last 5 months the back has held up.. the phone has been dropped and still looks new and the steel railings feel great

x2... I carry extra batteries, no need for a USB cable and battery bank. As a boy scout troop leader the weight/space savings in my pack is noticeable.

I upgraded to wireless Qi charging, that in addition to an occasional USB quick charge serves me very well. No other (current) phone can do this.
