This may be the wrong thread, so mods feel free to move it to the proper place. I am, like many Android users, a customizion freak and I was curious how to make wallpapers. Is there a program to resize the image? Any apps that might help? I have noticed my G2 doesn't resize images but crops them. I would love to be able to make my own wallpaper, especially if I can do it free. Thanks.

You can check out a pc program called Gimp. It's like photoshop. You can do all sorts of image editing, creating, and resizing with it. I personally use Photoshop to manipulate my wallpapers. If you don't feel like making stuff there are a few graphic artists here who are more than capable and willing to help people in need of custom wallpapers.

One wonders

If Crackberry has a way to make walpapers in their website... Can the Powers here be able to do the same thing? Since it is a sister site you would think its possible....

I personally use Photoshop, but I also use it for a lot of other reason too. If you're just wanting something kind of simple and don't want the expense of getting Photoshop (or God forbid, illegally downloading it lol) then go with Gimp. It is a great, easy-to-learn alternative.

I also suggest GIMP or Paint.net

Microsoft built in picture manager does basic editing.

I use GIMP for all my photo editing
