How does Samsung Gear S3 connect to internet on the go?

Hello,

So if i'm out and about and want to use an app which needs internet connection i.e download an app/use weather app/UBER/Spotify..... will the watch use data from my phone when connected through bluetooth to my phone?

Or does the watch need to be connected via wi-fi to use any apps above which need internet? (in this case I wouldn't be able to use them when i'm out and about i.e running?)

Thanks in advanced...hope what I'm asking makes sense?

The watch can use internet from your phone over Bluetooth. It will only connect to a WiFi connection when Bluetooth connection isnt available.
