How does the G4 Plus compare to Nexus 6

I have a Motorola Nexus 6, with 32gb of storage, and the G4 seems like a decent replacement.. Be realize I'd be losing NFC (not a deal breaker, but a consideration).. But gaining more storage and an SD slot.

It sounds like that screen would be a downgrade (size and pixels), but I am actually looking to downgrade screen size anyway as the N6 is a bit huge. Also sounds like the camera might be better.

Other than that, it sounds like a good phone with a good battery. Just wondering if the performance is generally good, and if there's anything else to consider before replacing my N6.

Thanks!

Nexus 6 is a great phone, for everyday tasks it's mostly faster than current phones.
Running cores at 2.7 GHz will do that.
Alas it's getting into it's latter years.
One has a hard time comparing these phones from different era's and price.
Nexus 6 was a flagship and had a price to match.
Moto's G4 plus is a mid-level phone of outstanding value.
it's price is almost comical. Get one to try it out.
I did....have continued utilizing it.
Moto still builds a nice phone.

With 4Gb's of Ram, 64Gb's storage plus expandable to 256Gb's, eight cores...if NFC/Compass were included....why buy anything more expensive? Alas, there is the rub. Still, a great, fast, inexpensive phone.
