how good is the Nexus 7 2013s display

Well, you can look at something like this:

But it won't give you much since the quality here depends on the camera that was used to take the picture, whether the camera had its focus set properly to the display, the image compression/format in use and the quality of the screen you use to watch this photo.

In my opinion, the N7 has one of the best screens I've ever had the pleasure of owning. So long as you don't plug it into a cardboard headset, the resolution is crisp and clear and the color reproduction is gorgeous.
