How hard is it for your Note 8 to unlock with fingerprint/face unlock feature?

I use the fingerprint and iris and both work fast and 100% of the time. Never had any issues.

This had been my experience for both the note 8 and my S8+.

I was concerned with the location of the finger print scanner before I got my N8. Once I got it, it is a non-issue for me. I hold the phone in my left hand, granted, using any finger on my left hand doesn't work at all. Using my right index finger to unlock the phone works great. More accurate then my Note 5 it replaced. I use smart lock with my location when home and my Gear S3 watch when out and about. Overall I'm very happy with the finger print scanner.

Do you people using face recognition and iris scanning wear glasses? I haven't bothered trying either one because the instructions say you need to take your glasses off to use them. That would be a major-league hassle, so why bother? The fingerprint recognition seems very fast and reliable, but you do have to grope around and find the sensor, so I usually just use a pattern swipe.

I wear glasses and contacts - even sunglasses - and I don't have issues with the iris scanner or facial scanner. Works perfectly fine for me. I thought the same, but when I first got the S8+ back in April, I tried it out for the hell of it and I was surprised it worked. Works just as well on my Note8!
