How is Call Quality on the Pixel 2 & 2 XL?

Nope. No headset. I don't even own a bluetooth headset that takes calls. I do know that one of the people who called me actually made the call over WiFi, and since I was at home at the time, I would have also been on WiFi.

My first guess was that this was a Project Fi problem, and there a number of complaints about echoes on incoming calls on the Fi support forum, but I've also seen a couple Verizon customers on XDA making similar complaints.

Ah I keep mine all on cellular. From the handset, speaker, and BT in my truck so far no complaints. Verizon network here as well.

Which, near as I can tell, is the only workaround. Only it's the sort of workaround that makes both WiFi Calling and Project Fi seem effectively pointless.

My call quality has been just fine. Verizon has never let me down.

Coming from an iPhone, I was shocked, yes, shocked, at how clear a phone call could be. The pixel is light-years better.

My only complaint is that when the call ends there's a rather loud "disconnect" tone, especially loud if you're on speakerphone.

Absolutely Hate that this cannot be disabled

Mine has some static and clicking noises. I'm hoping it's resolved in the 8.1 update.

Coming from an LG G4 that I was happy with until or started becoming very sluggish, that did not affect call quality that I could tell, the call performance of my P2XL (128) is better..

The fact that I have had 4 people say have you got a new phone, I can hear you now suggests that it's better than my 6p

On T-mobile it's good.... No issues of complaints from people on the other end.

I'm on AT&T and call quality is fine. Although since I'm on the beta HD Voice is enabled so that probably helps as well.

Pixel 2 XL, call quality is demonstrably better than my 6P or 5X. Crisp and clear using T-Mobile.

The background noise cancellation on the Pixel 2 is remarkable. I've been in a crowded pub and the person on the other end has thought I've been sat in my car.

I have the same problem. I have a Pixel 2 XL and she has the Pixel 2

I've only made a few calls but call quality is fine. Much better than my 6P in terms of usable volume from the handset earpiece.

Pixel 2, tried it on both Verizon and T-Mobile.

Compared to my 2nd Gen MotoX the the noise cancelling is great. My wife would always complain about all the background noise. I would have to stop anything I was doing because any noise was amplified on her end. Now on the Pixel 2 I can wash dishes or cook dinner on her commute homw and she barely hears anything but can hear my voice very clearly.
