How is the external speaker?

Those that have had the note 7 or s7 edge how does it compare?

I am not sure but they seem pretty bad to me.....lol. I also have the LG Platinum Tone, they sound better on the N7....I have the Beats I will try it with them tomorrow and see. I think the LG headphones are bad for music, but I love them for calls.

The external speaker is friggin loud. Probably the loudest I've experienced on a phone. My last three phones before the V20 were the Note 7, S7 Edge and Note 5. V20 is by far the loudest, followed by the Note 5, followed by the S7 Edge and Note 7 was the weakest.

I hope it is good. The Nexus 6 was the king to me. My V10 sucked and so does the S7 Edge.

They had lots of other redeeming qualities, but external speakers were not their claim to fame.

I think it's every bit as loud as my Nexus 6, just have to get used to not covering that end of the phone, and I miss stereo.

Personally it's as good as I could expect from a solo bottom firing speaker. I didn't care for the N7 speaker much.

The speaker on the bottom of the phone is loud. It sounds great even around the halfway mark.

I think the quality is similar to note 7 and v20 is definitely louder.

Not quite as loud as the LG G4 but the quality is amazing. It is loud though, I like it way better than the weak V10 speaker.
