I have a note 4 and strongly considering trading for the m9. My main reason is size and sense over lag fest that is touchwiz.

Also the apps on the lock screen and the knock on feature.

I know not removable battery is gonna hurt but how's the long term relisbilty on HTC phones? I'm on sprint which sucks within itself but I have 18 months to go before I can leave.

Do you think this is a fair trade?

I know the camera isn't great but I don't take many pictures.

I had my Rezound for 3 years and it was perfectly reliable and so was my DNA for the year that I had it. No problems with the M9 yet.

In 18 months, you might significant improvement in Sprint's network, depending on your location.

Sent from Tapatalk on either my HTC One M9 or Tab4 10.1, it kinda depends

I am using HTC phones since the Nexus 1 and they never let me down, that's why I keep returning to HTC after trying samsung phones (S2-S4-S6).
samsung is a mass producer that doesn't care about quality control and we saw it with the S6 (pink tint,burnins...) while is a more professional phone maker concentrated only on phones quality in terms of hardware and software

HTC phones are tanks. Hardware and Sense software are very well executed.

I don't have personal experience with Samsung Android phones, but the complaint I hear most is after 6-8 months they start slowing down/lagging. HTC devices don't have that problem. They tend to run well for the life of the device.

If I can find a swap I'll trade but I'm looking forward to trying the m9. I briefly has the m7 a while back, good phone just chappy network and I had that yellow tint issus but it. Got. Fixed.

I am using an M7 that still looks and runs like the day I bought it almost 2 years ago. Unfortunately I am on the Sprint network which is horrible. But the phone has been great. My previous phone was an HTC Hero which I used for about 3 years. It was still going strong. My next phone will also be an HTC however I am done with Sprint as soon as my contract is over.
