How is your Droid KEYBOARD EXPERIENCE?

i find the physical keyboard gets better with use. Combination of me getting used to it and it breaking in are stellar for me. I only use it when coding or hacking the phone via terminal emulator. It would suck if there was only a virtual keyboard for somethng like terminal emulator where i ALWAYS want to see the full linux screen. I'm sure this keyboard pales in comparisons with some other keyboard heavyweights, but I think it's a nice addition on a sweet phone

Going from a Blackberry Storm 2 keyboard to a droid keyboard for lack of a better word Sucked! It takes a while to get use to but as long as i dont have a case on the phone it ok.

Downloaded "a better keyboard", w/oil slick, that helped. Downloaded Swype, see what that does when I get cool with it.

What I wouldn't give to have a BB style chicklet keyed Droid (even in a larger form factor (this is sorta small to me). Absolutely love this phone, just not digging the keyboard too much at all. I was truly a typing monster on the Blackberry 8830.

Get the iphone keyboard skin for Better keyboard (or ice or smoog). It is the best I have found. Swype is my favorite by far. It is awesome. I am typing so much faster now.

Swype is freaking me out, haha... But, I see the potential.

Looks like I'm here to stay, just ordered a Seidio 2600mah battery and the matching innocase... Sick $$...

BUT, I have good browsing, no truncated email, sweet OS w/no mem issues/battery pulls yet. And, someday Apps from the SD card and Flash. Guess I'm cool with it.

Just downloaded swype, WOW. I pretty much wrote if off after watching the video's but I just had to try it. Its kind of freaky how well it works. Ha!
