Interesting. Were you storing apps/app data to it with previous devices? You may have corrupt files in there so I would suggest you save your files and reformat it. If you still have the same problems after that then you probably have bad sectors in the flash mem and should replace it with a new card.

no apps on card. normal stuff like music and videos, but i do have a lot of documents and files related to work on there.
i ran the phone today with no card to see if it resolved my lagging issue. the lag happened only twice while using opera browser. and the app stopped responding and caused the home screen icons to reload. things are better, but not great.
