How long should I wait for?

Hello everyone!

I kinda sorta, really, for sure, excited about, totally fallen head over heels for, can't wait for, and going crazy want this device...It will replace my Moto X 2014 and at the moment its doing alright. It shudders here and there but nothing ground breaking. I guess my fear is that the Pixel XL 128gig model won't be back until closer toward the new year....So I guess the question is do I wait it out? I think it would be worth it but I was in hopes to hear from Google when it would become more available.

I understand its new! Just not knowing the timeline almost kills my excitement...Damn you Google! or HTC! Whom ever!

Thoughts? Wait or move on? Pixel XL would be a perfect device for me I think...

I had the 128GB iPhone 7 Plus and before I got the Pixel I looked at how much space I has used. I took up 9GB of the available space. I went with the 32GB Quite Black Pixel XL as I could just not justify spending $100+ extra on a device that I would not use the storage amount with. Ultimately, it all comes down to what your needs and usage habits are. If you like to hoard all pictures and videos directly on the device instead of backing them up then the 128GB model is the one to go for. Otherwise I'd recommend saving the extra $100 and getting a case and screen protector.

Agreed - if you absolutely positively need the space, your options are limited. If you can live with the 32 GB get one. I ordered a 32 GB Black online from Verizon yesterday at 4:30 AM - it will be here by 10:30 today - 32 GB phone - 30 hour wait - I can live with this.

Wow, seems maybe they're pumping more stock to Verizon or something. Verizon was sold out of everything last week. Now they have black and silver 32s ready to go. 128s still a way out

I ordered on 10/15 a 128gb silver XL

As of this morning I was in pre order status .. I check right now and it says pending

Hopefully that means going to be shipped soon. My delivery date was supposedly not until 11/18-11/21

after installing apps etc - I have about 20 gb left on 32.... You can always have a flash drive with adapter for if you can't offload photos
