I am on my 3rd HTC One mobile phone, and Although I am very impressed with the phone itself. I have had serious issues with Battery life. the first Htc One battery ended up NOT charging at all, so I had to have it replaced with a reconditioned handset, this also had a battery fault with taking a long time to charge and then not lasting no more than 4 hours.
Now I have replaced the handset and called Customer Support they have advised me that I should do an initial charge of 16 hours. then never mentioned anything about whether it was good to totally let the battery die or not, but they did say that subsequent charges should not really go over 3 hours and that you would get a better charge with a original HTC charger. I will give this a try and if it works better I will post back on here.
