How long until custom stuff comes out?

I am new to android and just recently got a droid X.

I was going to root it and give it a custom ROM, but I decided to load the official gingerbread instead.

How long until we start seeing gingerbread roms/roots?

If they already exist, link please.

For the previous GB leak, some ROMs that stuck out were the updated Liberty 2.0(now2.0.1) and a little somethin called Blurrybread. And from what I have heard from here, there are others to follow soon enough. Liberty you can get by purchasing the Donate Liberty Toolbox and download the ROM from there. Blurrybread is somewhere in these forums....

If your new to Android, I assume that means your new to customizing, rooting, ROM's etc. I would start here...

Does liberty work on OTA GB?

That I dont know I havent tried it. 2.0.1did work for me on the rooted deodexed GB leak that was out right before this latest from this week. Then again I was able to install theming on mine without being deodexed this time so who knows. Only one way to find out...
