How long will you keep your N20

Until the phone stops working. Until the battery dies, if I can replace the battery somehow then I will keep the phone for another few years.

Provided the Note remains a true Note, not an "S Series with a pen", I'll be back for the next one. Probably complaining about colors and storage and all that other crap but still begging Samsung to take my money. #ugh

Is not the Note an S series with a pen?

Well said! I'm in complete agreement.

I'm a self confessed phone wh@!e and usually will get the newest one. I think I'll be keeping this one longer although I'm going to look at the Pixel 5. :D

Most likely 2 years. Skipped the Note 10. Went from the Note 9 to the Note Ultra and still got a good trade in price for it.

Ummm... No. It's not.

Just whip out the mighty sword (SPen) and there ya go. It's no longer an S Series with a pen. It goes beyond that for me, but that's the short answer.
My inquiry was more of a "outside of the S Pen, what does the Note 20U offer that the S20U does not?" Sammy tends to correct any aggregious issues with the later model just because of the later release (this year that was camera focus) but outside of that how is the highest spec Note better than the highest spec S series? For me, the only differentiator is the pen. For some the more squared-off figure of the Note is better, for others the curves of the S series win. ...but besides the pen?

Ahhh...In that sense, nothing that affects me. It's all about the extra functionality and precision with on the go documents that comes with the SPen. And the Bluetooth/remote capabilities are icing on the cake. I actually use that stuff.

For me, specs and aesthetics (respectively) come after that, so as far as that goes, I get your point.

"Just an S Series with a pen" just grates on my nerves so bad. I was lost without it when the N7 fiasco happened; and I use it for much more now than I did then. I could have chucked that S7E in a moat to be eaten by dragons.

I upgraded every 2-2.5 years, skipping a generation, and probably would've kept my S9+ even longer. However, it started running out of memory, so now I just bought 512GB Note 20 Ultra, hoping I can squeeze an extra 6 months out of its life later on.
