How loose is too loose?

I've read that a few people have said their screens are a bit on the loose side. I'm curious as to how loose is too loose? This is the first non-candy bar style phone that I have owned in a long time and my first ever slider.

When the phone vibrates it's pretty noisy from the play. I can also wiggle it a bit when it's closed.

my epic is also loose on the side I think it'll be ok though IMO I'm coming from evo because of the power button crack issue.

After examining my phone closer, I found that there is a bit of play, but it certainly is not a problem.
