How low do you go before charging?

I'm usually charging my phone whether at work, home or even shopping via power bank.

I guess watching too many Walking Dead or apocalypse shows has caused me to be paranoid of not being able to charge or being under 95% haaaaaaa ???

Best show btw

S8+ battery life is great. I usually charge it at some point mid day at work but it's usually still at 50 or 60%.

Charge mine each night went I hit the bed. I have a fast charge wireless cradle on my desk and when not in use it sets there. Have a fast charger in my car but only use if I'm streaming music or using nav.

It just kind of depends on what I am doing today I let it go down to about twenty nine percent and then I plugged it in for the drive home to charge up

With lithium cells it's generally good practice to charge it well before it's dead. Deep cycling hurts them worst (going from 0 to 100). Bump charging from say 40 to 100 is better. With today's cells I wouldn't worry too much as the technology has matured a lot. Old NiCad cells suffered from a memory effect and deep charging was preferred. NiMH don't have that problem and modern low self discharge cells can generally be treated same way as lithium batts in our phones. I personally charge mine overnight and don't hit charger again until bed time. Phone gives me awesome battery life and I normally have over 50 percent left by end of day. I'll only charge it sooner if I know I'll be out late into the evening, so I make sure it's got enough juice to do whatever I need.

Thank you for the insight!

According to Samsung the cells in the S8 should retain 95 percent of their original capacity after 1 year. The S7 only retained 80 percent

I was off a charger for over 8 hours today. By the time I plugged it into my car charger, I was at around 50%...ish. I wasn't really paying attention to how much battery life I had left. I was running livescribe+ and linked to my livescribe pen.

My s8 gets charged when I get home from work. Topped up.

I do not let my phones go below 20% in order to cut out any issues which may occur in regards to the battery. Maybe just me as we all have our unique charging habits but letting it below that or letting it deplete fully has caused others issues.

I never leave it off the charger at night. I top it off a couple times a day. There's no point in letting it go down low before you plug it in. It may be at 83% or 55%. I know it hasn't gone below 50% yet. Also, the longer it fast charges, the warmer it gets. I think that's worse than charging it 10% multiple times per day.

I start the day with 100% and by the time I go to bed my S8+ has around 20% remaining. I leave it charged over night and the cycle continues.

I have to charge my S8+ at work every day around lunch time ( i am below 50% at that time) i use the phone a lot, a lot of on screen time and also will tether a lap top to it frequently throughout the day. My day starts at 4:30 am and then i go to bed around 9PM so after charging back up to 100% during lunch time i end the day with about 20% life left and then i let it wireless charge while i sleep.

On the weekends i can usually go all day on a single charge.

Also will charge in the car if i am streaming music or using maps.

i've found recharging at 50% to be the sweet spot for battery health on Li polymer batteries.

I take my S8+ off at 5:00 pm then back on at 8:00am. Usually have 55-60% when I put it back on. Once didn't put it on till 10:00am, still had a 20% charge. I think 17 hours on one charge with 20% left is good.

Take mine off the charger around 630am. Usually top it off around 230pm when it's around 30%. Then back on the charger overnight around 10pm.

I charge every morning.

I usually charge it up to 85-90%.

I use it all day/night without putting it back on the charger.

Usually when I put it on the charger in the morning the battery is anywhere from 45-60%.
