I'm usually charging my phone whether at work, home or even shopping via power bank.
I guess watching too many Walking Dead or apocalypse shows has caused me to be paranoid of not being able to charge or being under 95% haaaaaaa ???
Best show btw

With lithium cells it's generally good practice to charge it well before it's dead. Deep cycling hurts them worst (going from 0 to 100). Bump charging from say 40 to 100 is better. With today's cells I wouldn't worry too much as the technology has matured a lot. Old NiCad cells suffered from a memory effect and deep charging was preferred. NiMH don't have that problem and modern low self discharge cells can generally be treated same way as lithium batts in our phones. I personally charge mine overnight and don't hit charger again until bed time. Phone gives me awesome battery life and I normally have over 50 percent left by end of day. I'll only charge it sooner if I know I'll be out late into the evening, so I make sure it's got enough juice to do whatever I need.
Personally I'm always close to a charger (wireless) at home/work or even in car. I just put on the wireless charger when I'm not using my phone at work.
