How Many Jumped Ship to the S8?

No lie I went in the Best Buy store today and the S8 is front and center. So I picked one up and played with it for a short while and of course the camera and I almost gave in. I'm not sure if the camera is really THAT good or if its that amoled screen with those deep, inky blacks but I was mesmerized. And the speed of taking a photo is blazingly fast. It just looks so good especially in black. But alas, I'm holding on to my V20...for now. I think its just a phase.lol If I can pay my V20 off early I would love to do that and then I can go back to upgrading yearly again. Still no issues from the V20 though.

The screen really is that sexy with inky blacks (which btw blackout mods look CRAZY on this phone) and vibrant colors. Lcd can't match amoled stride.

If I were you I'd stay away from all demos.

The curved screen turned me off.... Plus I'm not a fan of cheesewiz

This version of touch wiz and the 835 have proved to be a winning combination this time around.

Stutter and lag free for me all the while running cool to the touch unless playing intensive games.

No thanks. I'm new to the V20 but it is buttery smooth and the perfect size. The turn off for me is the tall and slender screen, the curved screen, and the fact that its all glass. I will be very interested in the v30.

Lol you ain't lying and I think that's good advice.😂

Guilty.. I took my brothers g4 and did a jump on demand... gave him my v20 since he likes sticking with phones awhile... win win...

You're actually who made me think of starting this topic.. I saw you flaunting yours in the S8 forum haha
Looking over my shoulders ......... who moi flaunt ????

As much as I loved the V20 I just couldn't resist getting my hands on the S8+ !!! Though one can't go wrong with the V20 since it's a solid phone !!

I'm staying the hell out of any store that has the S8+ because I'm afraid I'd walk out with it. I love my V20 but I am a psycho when it comes to upgrading my phone. It's not out of the norm for me to have 3 different phones in a 1 year period. I need to look into T-Mobile service in my area. The coverage was very poor last I knew but I know they have been making great strides to expand coverage. I love the idea of their Jump program.

The S8+ could interest me with a larger screen but, all glass and no duel camera are issues (not to bring up non-replecable battery).
Maybe the Note 8???? But then too, what has LG up their sleeve for the V30?
Staying with my V20 for now.

Lateck,

I made the switch. Then I switched back. Thank goodness I got my S8 Plus earlier than most and also the exclusive $99 bundle helped me resell my S8 without a loss. Definitely enjoy my V20 better; I would prefer the G6 over the S8 too. S8 was over hyped and it didn't live up to it, it's basically a slimmer S7 Edge. Also the curves are annoying as heck and everyone is having a hard time installing screen protectors and cases. The gear VR is cool but if you want to try VR, go for the real deal and use an Oculus Rift.
