Being using S9+ since March end switched from Note 8 and Ian very happy ..main reason being Note 8 was tad bigger and not great battery life...
Only reason to switch to Note 9 is mainly bigger battery and s pen...which frankly I used but very less..but getting tempted to get Note 9..but will wait for reviews and then decide....

Trying to figure that out myself, especially after getting a 9plus for 480 last month. A $500 Bluetooth stylus?

I have a year old s8 plus and have been considering the same. If I skip this I'll get the Galaxy SX but not sure I want to wait that long. The idea of a phone lasting the whole day is appealing. However if I get the Note 9 I can't justify flipping it for the new SX.

I'll probably wait for the S10+. I just traded my Note 8 in last month for the S9+.

I'm seeing basically the same camera and display, same processor, and very similar design. The only thing that is somewhat tempting for me is the bigger battery. So no, likely standing pat until the S10 or later.

I really want it but I don't think I need it. In Canada that thing will cost me over $1,500 after taxes. The very best I could sell my S9+ for is probably $900. That puts me out $600+ for an s pen with a couple neat tricks up its sleeve and a better battery. Of course I'd be open to the better battery, but for that cost I can't justify it.

Not me. Just got my s9... Last note I had was the Note 5 and it was okay. A little too large for me since I have small hands.

Pre-ordered my Note 9 and will be giving my S9 plus to a family member probably. Battery is one big reason that I'm switching.

The only reason I would consider it is that I have never had a note so kind of have a note itch. Really though there is no reason to unless you have a genuine use for the s pen (imo) I'm not sure the battery and ram upgrades will be that noticeable as real world benefits.

I'm actually more tempted to swap my blue S9+ for the grey one which is even more unnecessary!

Nah, I'm not even tempted a little bit by the Note 9. Other than the bigger battery (and Spen of course), there's really no reason to go from an S9+ to it. I don't care about the Spen. So I'm waiting on the S9+. It'll actually have some new things going for it.

yeah I know it's unnecessary expense when S9+ and Note 9 are basically same phone....just we get tempted when something new phone is launched....I gonna wait it out ...see some reviews and then decide...I wanna see real life battery review of the Note 9 and see it in person to decide if I like it's size

I can assure you that on a heavy usage it will not last for one full day.

S9+ vs Note 9. Basically the same device with a slightly bigger screen and battery. Of course S-pen... but that's why is called Note. Upgrading from an S9+ there are waisted money. You should at least wait for S10+ or better a Note10.

That is true, but the note 9 is tempting. I kinda like it's boxed looks then the roundness of the s9+ ...but if I can get a good deal I might jump on it

I had the N8 and I switched to the s9+ even tho I love my note battery life didn't last as long the s9+ lasted a bit longer in battery life but the akg speakers and the Efficiency on that 845 processor won it for me so the N9 I have to get it the note phones are different than galaxy S phones N phones are a little more customizable Its suprising these tech guys in YouTube dont really show that
