How Many of u switching to Note 9

6 months old CPU and GPU.
small upgrade for a high price tag.
most people won't need a S-Pen.
so conclusion is, it's over-priced.
Only 2 year's of Major update's,
support Quick Charge 2.0 from 4 years ago.
just wait for Galaxy S10, it will be a major upgrade, Samsung 10th anniversary...

Currently using S9 Plus 256GB...

Would wait for S10 as it will have newer processor...

S9 Plus to Note 9 doesnt make any sense unless i needed the S-Pen.

I dont need the 8GB of ram at the moment nor do i need the 512gb of internal storage. Or the 4000mah battery as my S9 Plus would last me almost 2 days on normal usage.

But depends on the needs.

That is true, but the note 9 is tempting. I kinda like it's boxed looks then the roundness of the s9+ ...but if I can get a good deal I might jump on it

Yes i agree about the boxed looks. I had a Note 8 and it sits better on the palms...

I'm seeing basically the same camera and display, same processor, and very similar design. The only thing that is somewhat tempting for me is the bigger battery. So no, likely standing pat until the S10 or later.

.2” bigger display is more than it seems in person. Helps for portrait mode.

Speakers sound a little more full than the already good 9+

SPen functions (remote seems cool)

Less rounded corners

At least twice the internal storage for NA users

The display seems a tad flatter, but that could be the .2” making it seem that way.

I always upgrade between the Note and S series. The 512 GB Note 9 is going to be a beast with the extra ram and storage. I'm still keeping my S9+ to use sometimes, But most likely it will collect dust like my Note 8 did.

I bought my unlocked S9+ a month ago so I have no plans on getting rid of it nor do I want to buy the Note this year.

I just got the display replaced in my Note 8 today after I broke it Saturday night so with a new display, I pretty much have a new phone again and it will easily last another year. The battery easily lasts me a day and a half just like it did when it was new.

why will you need 512Gb of internal storage?
most people can't even get 64Gb to full.

just saw the Note 9 today in person.
.size is bigger than my S9+ one hand use will be difficult on the Note 9....but I love the boxy look and bigger battery and s pen features which comes handy when needed...

I miss my note 8 but it was giving me problems so I got the s9+ and it was a God send it lags ever so often but not like the note 8 I want the note 9 but s9+ has very little issues plus i have 128 SD card that never goes low so im not sure

Yes, not picked one up yet but the FPS looks like it is in an awkward place and even the S9 when compared to a P2XL or G7 is not great.

My Note 8 became very laggy & buggy after almost a year, in my opinion the price on the Note 9 is too much to justify. I switched to the S9 the other day

Being using S9+ since March end switched from Note 8 and Ian very happy ..main reason being Note 8 was tad bigger and not great battery life...
Only reason to switch to Note 9 is mainly bigger battery and s pen...which frankly I used but very less..but getting tempted to get Note 9..but will wait for reviews and then decide....

I totally am. Already sold my s9 plus.
