How many of you getting the EVO are coming from a Pre/Pixi?

So, which phone are you leaving for the EVO?

Came from a Pre Plus that I've only had since March. Have been looking at the EVO and Sprint ever since AT&T ended unlimited data plans. I need unlimited data and at my next AT&T Upgrade, I would've had to give that up, so I bailed and got the EVO On the NOW Network. This thing is like having a laptop in my pocket. Still getting use to typing on a screen but it's not anything near as bad as what I thought it was. I'd never go back to Palm now.

Have my EVO upgrade from a Palm Pre on the way, should be here Tuesday. I can't wait after getting a chance to play with the EVO that my friend owns.

Both my husband and I have Palm Pres. We are considering the Evo Shift. I would like the slide out full keyboard and he would like a better calendar. He uses his phone for work and there is not a very good variety of views for the Palm Pre calendar. He was spoiled by the Palm Treo calendar which he liked a lot but the Pre just doesn't have it.

Add one more pre to evo person here. Really did like the pre and have been a palm person for years but the evo offered too much at the $99 radio Shack deal to pass up. Plus I got the free headset that I wrapped up and gave as a gift!

came from a Pixi here...actually loved the phone, but after a chance to use a Pre Plus for a couple months, I couldn't go back to a slower phone (I use my phone a lot for work and play) Plus my second Pixi radio in nine months died and sprint wouldn't just swap...so upgraded to the evo and love it so far. Does a lot the Pixi didn't and it's snappy.

had a launch day Sprint Pre and picked up my EVO two weeks ago. Still like webOS, but HPalm passed over loyal Sprint customers too often. Happy to be on my new phone

Launch Day Pre

I am a launch day Pre owner, on my third Pre (warranty replacements). As above, really disappointed in Sprint and Palm. Not waiting until February to heard about what they will be offering "in the coming months."

I like my EVO a lot better than my Pre. I also like the Android O.S. better.

I have to admit both the Evo and the Pre have their pros and cons... the pre seem to have more cons than pros. However, certain propping the phone for modification purposes was a lot easier. Patches on the pre is options on my Evo.
