Same thing here. Guy had to dig around in his computer to see if they were allowed to take preorders. I was a little bummed that I had to get two gift cards to get two phones though. Looks like I'll be getting two car docks and an hdmi adapter, maybe a case too.

I think it was jfenton that had asked and was told the gift cards can be used towards the purchase price of the phone. It's worth checking out for yourself before you blow them on a bunch of accessories you may not really need.

It was me. I stopped back by the store where I did my preorder and asked again and received the same answer...that being YES...you can use it toward the purchase price of the phone, accessories, your bill, whatever. Basically, it's simply a yellow Sprint gift card.

I really hope Best Buy will be carrying this on launch day. Just started with Sprint a week ago and want to change my phone I got out for the Epic 4G touch once it hits since I will still be inside my 30 days. Since I initially signed up at BB though I can't put a pre-order in at the Sprint Store and BB is not taking pre-orders
