How many times can you snooze the alarm before it shuts off?

I hit the snooze button several times before I get out of bed. But there's been a couple times I woke up late because the alarm stopped going off.. and I was late for work.
Is there a set number of times Android allows you to snooze the alarm? I know how to set the duration, from 1 minute to an hour, but don't see anywhere you can set how many times you can snooze.
I've searched the internet and can't seem to find an answer to this.

Lol wow I have my snooze at 5 minutes and it goes off at 530 and then I wake up by 630. How much are you trying to snooze??

I hit snooze every 10 minutes from 9am to 10am. But a couple times I woke up late, after hitting snooze.. and the phone doesn't even say missed alarm. I'm wondering if it only lets you snooze for an hour?
I gotta figure this out, I cannot be late again.

Seems the better solution would be to set the alarm for 10am, place the phone where you need to get out of bed to turn off the alarm, and actually sleep for the extra hour.

Are you sure you aren’t hitting while sleeping¿

On mine, you go into where you set the alarm, and you can choose how long you snooze for and how many times.
