How many will pass on the Note 3?

If I'm really in need of good photos I have a dslr that works great. I never listen to music from the speaker on my phone and I can't believe ANY phone with one tiny speaker is really going to sound good. If I was using my phone in the morning for music while getting ready or any other time for that matter, I think I would invest just a little money in a Bluetooth speaker. Seems like such a simple solution.

Getting my note 3 tomorrow. I'I want the awesome camera,, no I don't want a separate camera only.. Why not have the latest,, took me a hour to sell my note 2 on eBay and that's paying for the note 3 so it's not costing anything.

IT'S TRUE,, SIZE IS EVERYTHING!

I'll get the Nexus 5 in addition to the Note 3, but not for those reasons. While I like the Note 3, I also like the stock Android experience. The leaked photos of the Nexus 5 look nice, too.

I hear people say the phrase "stock android experience" alot and I don't get it.. My wife has a phone with "stock android experience" and I find it dull and boring and unappealing,, to me that is.. That some people love this for what ever reason all the power to them,, that's what separates android from the rest,, you have choices.

IT'S TRUE,, SIZE IS EVERYTHING!

There's nothing wrong with the low light although there is no low light mode in the settings it still has one. As demoed by one of the tech sites that also stated that there was no low light mode and photos was bad until he turned on the image stabilization. That now happens to be the new low light mode.

From my Note 2 to you

Got my note 3, what a great device.

nethier of those are big to me. Ive skipped note 1 and 2 so I think this one im gonna grab. Remember technology will not stop changing.

Glad you posted this.... I had my note 3 on pre order...I watched video after video on all the amazing new tricks that my note 2 couldn't do... Then I asked myself... Do I really need to do that? Also touchwiz... Cmon Samsung!!! I had Gs3 .mom has Gs4 I have a note 2 and I went in to AT&T to see the note 3 I was not blown away at all...I will say stat for stat it may be the best phone out ...but I'm learning it's all about user experience for me and I can't take touchwiz anymore...and look I used nova launcher, that's not a fix to me.... It's a band aid when you need stitches...So I purchased a HTC one so after 3 phones back to back Samsung...I'm putting them on pause... Until s real overhaul is done to touchwiz...it needs to be cleaned up much like HTC did with sense ...sense is well put together... It lacks Samsung features but I can tell HTC real put as much thought into making a cohesive UI as possible... It all flows much like the experience in stock android(not a fan of) and ios..

I considered G2 but much like Samsung it's kinda to loud.. but imo it's cleaner then touchwiz...but I have about 10days left to return so there are somethings on the LG G2 that could change my mind....not so much for the note 3

If the 3 is your 1st note...it's perfect! please understand there is nothing wrong with the phone, I am speaking as a long time non worshiping of any OEM Samsung user ...

are you saying you tried 3 different htc ones and they were defective?

How many people are going to skip the Galaxy Note 3 and wait for another phablet or Nexus 5, because of 2 major cons?

Con 1: External Speaker not loud.

Con 2: Low light photos are horrible.

It looks like a lot of people are not skipping the Note 3 for those reasons. Thread fail.

I don't get the hype about the stock android experience either. I bought nexus 4 and the phone was so boring to me too. I sold it immediately on ebay and got a Note 2. Now I just need to get my hands on the Note 3.

I went to the Sprint Store yesterday. Played with Gnote3 for 30 minutes. I loved it. The sound was great. Pictures I took was excellent. I like the black one better then the white. The back on the back of the black one had a rubber like feel. The white is just hard plastic. After playing with it I can not wait until next Thursday when Verizon releases it. I tried the one hand use, playing with the s-pen and apps for it. Multi task stuff is really great.

Have not put it down since yesterday. Great device, I love it.

THE BEAST,,NOTE 3. SIZE IS EVERYTHING!!!

The speaker volume is important to me as far as the ringer volume is concerned I need a loud ringer like the HTC One and Droid Maxx has. It also needs a strong vibrate motor which are strong faults I have with the S3.:(

I watch some music videos to see how it looked and sound. The sound was pretty loud. Listened to rings tones. There is no way you will miss a call. With the speakers on the bottom instead of on the back there is nothing muffling the sound. Go to Sprint or At&t and try it for yourself.

When I shower.. my speaker music is going.. when I cut my hair and shave .. speaker phone music is going....it's not a deal breaker but it's important

Try putting a soundfreaq speaker in the bathroom and you will never go back to any cell phone speaker.

Im gonna go shortly and check it out,how is the vibrate motor though ?

Left the One for the Note 3. Speaker is ok and camera is ok too. Can't really ask for more. This thing rocks!! At home I like listening to music with the speaker but I also have headphones if the speakers aren't loud enough.

The sound argument reminds me of the complaints on the Sony z laptop with the power docking station. That laptop was ahead of its time and was amazing, light and tiny. Yet people were unhappy with the sound of the internal speaker and being a deal breaker.
There was zero room for speakers and the need was nill

With the note 3,same feeling.
It got lighter and smaller, so something had to give.

Yes, the sound isn't as good as the note 2, but the pros out weight it and external sound is low on the list, with all the other sound options out there.

I'm glad the sound is weak, because we gained elsewhere.

Samsung isn't dumb, they would of kept it if they needed to, or could

I still have a year to go on my Note 2 contract and haven't seen any earth shattering differences in the Note 3. Maybe in another year there will be enough new tech to want to change.
