How much actual space is available on this thing?

I see they're gimping the storage at 16gb (at least in the US anyway). IRIC, Samsung filled up about half of their internal storage with bloat on some of their other devices, so how bad is it on this one?

Mine says "Total Space 16GB" and then it says "System Memory 4.22GB(The minimum amount of storage space required to run the system". So I guess that means you actually have 11.78GB of space to play around with...Not very good, in my opinion. Its a good thing this thing has a SD card slot. I'll need it!

Yea, I've already downloaded some apps and magazines to mine but I still have about 9GB free, which I think is pretty good for a Samsung device. I got the S4 on launch day and I remember seeing something like 7-8GB free and that was before I put ANYTHING on the device.
