how much cm7 hotspot can i use

I am going to take a couple week roadtrip vacation very soon. And I was wondering how much cm7 hotspot can I use. I have multiple. 6hr car rides and I would like to steam movies via Netflix. Throughout the car ride. Do u think I could get away with streaming and using that much data. Without Verizon charging. Me or is the cm7 hotspot hidden from Verizon

My guess is Verizon can't see that you are using a hotspot on CM7, but they would get suspicious if you used a ton of data. Although you could watch Netflix on the phone, so I don't know if using the hotspot and Netflix on a laptop would use any more data than that. Probably some.

I'm not sure because I'm actually downloading it right now, but I use a lot of data with the wifi tether app and never got caught. You should be fine as long as you have an unlimited plan.

I've heard the magical number where verizon will start to raise their eyebrow is 5gb.

Eh, just set your Netflix to the lower bandwidth setting while traveling. Who needs 1080p on a laptop anyway.
