Well, it isn't working correctly.

What it is showing is the amount I have spent on just my new S5 which is $16.30

It does NOT show how much I have spent on my previous Galaxy S.

I am wondering if that is because the old phone had a different phone number?
had to change the number a while back.

It obviously is not tracking the expenses by the gmail account, that hasn't changed.

Its strictly tracked by gmail address. (On my 5th android device). Have no idea why its acting weird for some people

My is $60.23 so far. Some games, some apps I liked and wanted full versions and a few movies.

But I got a $50 Google play store credit from Samsung that they had for new Note 3 buyers, so I only paid $10.23 out of pocket

$1,140.04, but this includes all 3 Nexus phones I have purchased through the store (Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, and the Nexus 5), one Chromecast, and 4 months of Google Play music @ $7.99 a month (I got a better deal because I signed up early) before I canceled it and decided I did not need it. As for actual apps though, it comes to $15.96.

But there is a glitch in the system - perhaps an unavoidable one. It identifies the paid apps and then adds up their current prices. But it does not account for the fact that you may have bought some apps during a sale.

I've spent $284 in 4 years. Not too bad considering I have over 350 apps in my account and have had many devices in that time.

I'm at $1096.45 on 77 items for average of $14.24. Most expensive actual apps were Need for Speed Most Wanted ($6.99) and Rom Manager Premium ($5.99) and then a slew of $4.99 games, Nova Prime for $4, etc.

If your highest paid app is $6.99, then why is average cost $14.24?
