Hi, I charged fully 100% and played asphalt 8 for about an hour and wat I left with was 30% battery level!! Is it normal And how is your note3 performing with battery????

It could be normal considering games are keeping the screen up constantly, using the processor to the maximum (possibly) and it's running warm overall. However, before you try next time do a phone reboot so no rogue applications are open and see if that helps solve the problem.

I don't think it's unusual for games to drain the battery. Simple, casual games probably won't, but I think the bigger ones can. I have Asphalt 7, and it takes a noticeable toll on my battery, too. I have to admit that 70% drain in about 1 hour of playing seems like a lot, but don't usually play that long myself, so I don't have a first-hand comparison. As Eclipse2K noted, a reboot might help a bit, so it could be worth a try.

P.S. -- I've got some goals in Asphalt 7 that require community interaction. Would you be willing to connect with me? I'm not sure if it will work across apps (between my 7 and your 8), but I don't know anyone else playing and think it's worth a shot if it may let me clear them. Thanks!

After the recent software update.. my battery is draining very quickly. I'm actually getting annoyed. I have no new apps.

I get the same battery drain playing Plants vs. Zombies 2. So I realized I shouldn't play games for a long time to keep my battery up.

mine right now is at 17% i unplugged it at 9am yesterday and had some heavy you tubing and gaming today plus 30 min stream of pandora on my way to work, plus about 10 calls and 20 text for the whole day.

If your battery life degraded after the update you may want to consider doing a factory reset. I tend to do this start fresh on updates and it works well.

Just a suggestion, and I am not a gamer.. Since the Note 3 has the removable battery feature, looks like to me the gamers would benifit
greatly on having spare battaries. I got two Casology 3200Mah batteries with charger for less then 20 bucks. For the last week just testing them, they charge and last just as long as the OEM. If I was a gamer, I would have a spare at the ready, and in less the a minute swap out and back with a full 100% battery.. just my two cents..

I don't know about Asphalt 8, but I can tell you what I see in Asphalt 7 and hope it's basically the same. On the main title screen, there's a button called Asphalt Tracker. Clicking that goes to another brings up a screen with four tabs. One of them is Friends. On there, you can enter a Gameloft ID to add someone to your friends list. I'm Dronak01 there, if you want to try to add me. Or if you give me your Gameloft name, I'll try to add you. Thanks!

I saw the Caseology battery pack on Amazon. I was thinking of getting it, but I wanted to hear feedback on how they worked. I might pick those up this weekend.
