I know some people are not aware that they can clear out cached data (for All Apps). Is it good to clear it out daily?
I do realize that you may need to download the same data again say if you are using apps like Facebook and Zedge and many others.

Thanks for any comments.

I never clear caches. They're there to speed up operation and you get best performance if left alone to do their job. Deleting cache files just wastes power and CPU cycles since cache files will rebuild themselves anyway.

Android since v1.0. Linux user since 2001.

Same here.

I've cleared a few times since I got the phone, for the express purpose of having caches rebuild with fresh data. I have done this for glitching apps, updated apps where I want to reset info stored in the app, and for the phone's main system data cache (after the updates).

Other than that, just leave it alone. It may SEEM like it's just fat that needs to be trimmed, but it DOES serve a good purpose. And, none of the apps or system should ever build up such a large cache of info that it's wasting any appreciable amount of storage space on your phone.

When I've recommended and done it myself, to Clear cache is the Wipe Cache Partition in Recovery mode and it has always been to try to fix issues on the device.

The app cache only should be cleared if that specific app is misbehaving.

I clear it once a month. I setup a calendar reminder to do it.

Power off, press and hold power, volume up and home buttons until the Android robot appears, then browse the options with the volume buttons and enter with power button.

Whenever I feel my phone slowing down and tripping up, I will use the app CCleaner to clear out app cache and browsing cache. It takes about 2min and then everything is fast and smooth again.

App storage cache in settings every couple or three days. Haven't felt the need to clear the cache partition yet.

Only after major updates to the OS. If an app is giving me problems, I only wipe that app clean.

Cache was up to 6+ Gb out of 16Gb on my Samsung S4. Could not load anything, cleared cache and all well again. Plan on clearing on a regular basis.

I've experienced up to +6Gb on my Tablet, Google Pixel C, just to see how far it would go and I concluded it'll just keep going, anyways i think also is a good idea to clear after about a week 😎
