How often do you replace your phone?

I am under the next plan with at&t... So in past 18 months i have gone from note 3 to lgG3 to Nexus 6...

I'm keeping Note 4 for one year. I had my SGIII for two years. I get a new iPhone every year. Not sure what I'll do with my Lumia 1520.
Varies.

How do you deal with the battery degrading over time? Just wondering if you replace it or use your phones only moderately.... ?
I had to replace the battery in my v195s once, but that's the only time I've had a phone long enough for the battery to wear out.

What didn't you like about your G3 that is better on the Nexus 6?

G3 was great at first but over heating was a total drag downloaded a battery monitor too see, changed cases. Buggy as hell and the lollipop update just made it worse... At&t solution was to swap it and didn't want to go down that road. Been wanting a nexus device for awhile but missed opportunity. Got some $$$ back this year a and went for it

Depends on the phone. Longest I've kept a phone is two years and the shortest a few weeks. Ideally every year but the last few months I've just been going through them like a mad woman

My Blackberry phones gets replaced every year as a flagship comes out.

My Android phones are kinda inconsistent as I replace if I feel like it (buy and sell). They remain one generation behind the most recent due to costs. The longest I had was a Galaxy Nexus, for 6 months. I'm hoping this Nexus 5 lasts longer. :D

Every two years in general. I have Huawei g525 for one year now, and I expect it to last for another year as well.

Normally every 2 years when I was on contract.. now that I'm off contract on prepaid, straight talk, not sure.. I have a nexus 5 I bought February of 2014 and still loving it.. I bought it outright so I'd like to get my moneys worth out of it, so I think sticking to 2 years is still ideal.. maybe longer who knows, might depend on the next nexus iteration.

Too often lol. Right now I'm using the BlackBerry Classic, so I will be hanging onto this one for awhile. I bought it off contract. I now have an upgrade available, so when I burn that upgrade, I'm going to try very hard to hold onto that one for atleast a year or longer.

I've been through a lot of devices between Christmas and now and I think I'm done now that all my devices have removable batteries and SD support.

I can't seem to keep a phone more than a few months. I have access to most of them and I just keep swapping them out. I am usually rolling with two or three at a time. I do have issues... My IPhone 6+ has been with me since launch, but currently have a Nexus 6, Droid Turbo, and just the other day I got a BlackBerry Classic.

The BlackBerry Classic is nice, I got one too.

I replace my phone every 6 to 8 months..because after every 6 months there is a new update in the market with new phone...
...and there you have it. There is always something new and that is enough for a lot of us to want to switch. That's why there's Next, Edge, Jump, etc.
