How? SKIP NFC style unlock for Unrooted Galaxy S4

Is it possible to have a Moto X style SKIP unlock function on my unrooted Galaxy S4?

I found a thread that talks about a mod that requires root... any way to do this without root?

I believe you can do this with NFC Task Launcher and Tasker. I haven't tried, but I'm sure it's possible.
