Has anyone installed and used 8.1 yet? How stable have you found it?
I normally wouldn't do it on my main phone but apparently it repairs the Assistant bluetooth issues on the Pixel 2. Thanks.

Pixel here. Flawless really. Fluid, the design changes are just right. Very elegant. Couple that with the Pixel 2 launcher and it is a very speedy phone. This Pixel continues to impress me.

Working fine on my 6P. My Pixel 2XL should arrive today, I'll probably wait a few days before enrolling it in the beta program.

I'm rocking the OG PIXEL. There are very minor app crashes. but, 98% is working smoothly. And the new battery optimization is kick ***.

I'm running pixel xl 2 since yesterday and I've had no issues so far. Phone seems smoother actually...

I've had zero problems with it installed on my 2 XL. Despite all the display challenges, the 2 XL is arguably the best Android powered device I have ever owned. And the maturation of Android is why; 8.1 is working very well!

Are you noticing camera improvements? Is that enabled yet for p2?

Seems to have broken Bluetooth again for some people. Android Auto is also broken for some. But that might be the app itself. I get an occasional Google Play Services crash. Other than those it's pretty stable.

Not sure if it's 8.1 beta or messages, but yesterday I kept receiving multiple text messages even though it was only sent once. And I had a problem with Android Auto, but after a restart it seems to have been fixed.

The visual core hasn't been enabled yet. Most seem to assume that the next build will see some of the functions enabled.

As for stability, I have it on my 1XL and it's been rock solid steady. Had it not been for the beta notification on boot, you'd never know it's pre release.

It's a point upgrade, not a full version bump. The point upgrade betas have historically been pretty stable since they are usually refinements and big fixes without major API and OS overhauls.
