How the heck to keep track of notification icons

So after installing ~80 apps, I've fast lost track of what many of the umpteen notification icons mean - sheesh!

e.g., does anyone know what the two icons on the far right indicate? More to the point, is there some way (clicking & holding on the icon doesn't do anything) to inventory the system for what notification icons may be in use, e.g. a legend of some sort?

tried that, natch ... although the icons in 3/4/5 position show up and id themselves, there is no indication of the 1st/2nd icons.

ah, ok ... I think I figured out what the 1st one (8, which now on my phone reads "9") is ... it's the number of 'new' notifications awaiting you in the notify pulldown tray.

Sure enough, when I hit teh CLEAR button in the notify pulldown, the "8" disappeared. So did the "checked suitcase", for that matter, but there was no indication in the pulldown notify before I had cleared it corresponding to said suitcase.

Ah, you asked what the icons on the "far right" not left were.

"Checked suitcase" is actually checked "shopping bag" indicating a completed market download.

but when I do the drop down, there's nothing there. I've been trying to get rid of it but I can't. Any suggestions?

The suitcase with the check mark indicates a successful download. If you pull down the menu and press clear, it should disappear. If it doesn't, try restarting your phone.

do you mean the white nubmer on orange background? That appears to be the # of outstanding notifications ... pull down notify try, then hit CLEAR.

yes. Did you see the 2nd image? There is no Clear and no notifications. Also when I get new notifications, the number increases, and I press clear and they all go away except for the same 2.

Solved. Battery pull made it go away
