So a little while ago, a computer science student who was running the Q beta on his S10 showed me this app called Activity Launcher. What this app allows you to do is to individually run activities that are parts of apps. Effectively this means that you can literally run parts of apps without fully loading said apps. And of course this means you can also run hidden/undocumented parts of apps that are normally inaccessible. Sadly the Android 7.0 Easter egg is broken, but the Marshmallow, KitKat and Oreo versions work great! Works great on my S8 running Pie. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.szalkowski.activitylauncher

That's cool! I'll have to check it out.
Pro tip: if you hold down on an activity you like (i.e. An Easter egg you like) it will give you an option to stuff an easy-access shortcut on your home screen.

What is kinda annoying though is that the Oreo Easter egg profusely highlights the WhatsApp burn-in on my 2 month old S8, but I guess I have to live with that when playing said Easter egg.

When will they you think add the easter eggs for you to add onto the phone

Welcome to Android Central! FYI, you're responding to a 6 year old thread, and it's doubtful the person will respond this late.

Also, your question is unclear. Please clarify.
For example on android 11 When will they add the option to pull up the spinwheel dial and activate the easter egg for cat controls cause I have android 15

How would we know? We're not Google.

The Easter egg is specifically for the Android version a phone is on -- so if your phone is on Android 15, the Easter egg will be the space game: https://www.androidauthority.com/android-15-easter-egg-flag-3450834/

Also, it can depend on the phone you have -- some manufacturers might not implement the Easter egg. And if you got your phone cheap from some garbage site like Wish or AliExpress, it's almost certainly a knockoff full of fake specs. Oftentimes, a phone from that site will claim it's on Android 15, but is actually on a much earlier version (like Android 8). Which phone do you have?
