How to add contacts on the first home screen to the right?

As you can tell this is my first driod. On the home page with the contact pics and short cuts i only have three spaces. How can I add more? Thanks

Spaces? If there is empty space you can add whatever you need or want

I'm using the wrong terminology i'm sure. When you first go to that page there are four "boxes" that you can add contacts to, then move them around the screen. The boxes have a spot for pics and other contact info. I have three boxes filled and deleted the fourth by mistake. I want to know how to get the boxes back so I can add more. Hope that makes it clearer, Thanks

tap n hold a blank space on the screen add motorola widget then add contact quick tasks then select what quick tasks you want to show phone txt etc

and after you add the contact widget, you can adjust the size (tap once and adjust the size with the white border around it) by doing this, you can add more options for that contact i.e. call, text, email, facebook...
