Hi there,

I recently purchased a Galaxy 3, which I am completely in love with however, it is not working properly and needs to go back to the store.
It was having a few issues.
1. took 5 hours to charge every time, and about the same to 'de-charge'..huge pain in the ass
2. Refused to connect to "Kies" though it would connect to Android sync. When trying to connect to Kies, it would be recognized but jsut keep connecting...and never actually connected other than as a usb port.
3 the power button is loose.

So my provider is sending me a brand new one..however, I want to be able to keep all teh work I did before I realized it was the phone and not me...
All of my pics are on my sd card so that isn;t the problem...my concerns are my contacts, and all teh applications I have dowloaded etc...
any ideas?

as long as all your contacts are saved to your google account, theyl sync back to your new s3 when you sign in and with my s3 anyway, when i signed in, it downloaded all the apps i had on my previous phone automaticly

global s3, UK. Ask me anything and ill reply even if its just an intelligent (or stupid) guess ;)

Lol, teh. Listen to Funk and sync your contacts with Google, the only way you can backup apps + app data is by rooting and buying Titanium Backup, but than you'll have to Odin your defective device back to stock before returning it.

If you do decide to use TiBU make sure you set the backup directory to your external SD card and not your internal memory.
