How to back up whatsapp chat to PC?

Following up from my previous post, heard nothing on there so asking on here again.

Does anyone know how/if i can backup whatsapp whole chat of 1 person onto my PC as text i.e as a word document or something along those lines.

My phone freezes/lags almost every time I go on chat with 1 person, i believe its because I have WAYYYY too many messages with them (almost 3 years worth talking everyday). But i do not want to loose the chat so would like to save a copy to my PC if possible please.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Evidently nobody here knows the answer. Perhaps the devs could advise you? Whatsap is Microsoft, so it should be doable I imagine... They save chats to cloud...

Using your computer, and one of the supported web browsers, go to
https://web.whatsapp.com/

If you sync the phone via the QR scan, you can see your messages on the PC. From there you can do a "view page source" or "save page as".
