How to batch upload photos to Google Drive

Hello everyone!
Just a quick question,,thought it'd be easy,,but i haven't figured it out yet.
1) I opened Google Drive
2) I opened a folder, i had already created, called "photos"
3) I clicked on the red plus sign, in the lower right corner.
4) I then clicked on the "upload" option
5) Then the "open from" option was presented, upon which, i clicked on,( in this case), gallery,
6) i was presented with my folders on my device, i clicked on my folder, called " Camera"
7) Now, i am being presented with all the photos, in thumbnail version, with a tiny icon, for expansion of photo, within the bottom right corner of each photo. Also,,along the vertical left side of the window, is also, the other various folder options, from my Albums.
8) In the past, i had simply, long pressed on a thumbnail, and it would show a "check-mark" on that photo, and then i would continue on to click on each other individual photo, as many as i choose, so i can "batch" upload photos to my Google Drive, but long pressing does nothing.

Any thoughts??? Thank you all!!!

Instead of selecting Gallery, select IMAGES and find the Camera folder. Then you should be able to do it.

Or if you go to your Gallery (Not Google Drive), select the pictures there and then Share to Google Drive, that should work as well.
