How to block bluetooth devices

[AC Question]

I have an LG V20 running Android 7.0 and the past few days I've been getting constant, like every 60 seconds constant, requests to pair from something called "sparrow." I've never paired with any such device and it doesn't matter where I am...work, home, the store...I keep getting requests. Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

Well, you could turn off bluetooth but I assume that isn't an option?

My phone (a Nexus 6P running 7.1.2) has a note at the bottom of the Bluetooth settings screen that the device is only visible while the settings screen is open, does your phone have that?

I have a smart watch and like lidtening to music, so it's not really an option...but it's off for now to avoid a trip to the funny farm.
