I used to be able to change the background color of my folders in UI 6. the option is not there in UI 7 Beta. i toggle Home Up -> home screen -> apply folder background color , but that did nothing.

Does anyone know how to do it in UI 7 Beta?

Yeah, Samsung seems to have removed the option to change folder background colors directly in One UI 7 Beta. The toggle under Home Up -> Home screen -> Apply folder background color doesn’t seem to do anything anymore.

If you still want to customize your folder colors, you’ll need to use Good Lock with the Theme Park module. Here’s how:

1. Download Good Lock & Theme Park from the Galaxy Store.
2. Open Theme Park, create a new theme, and go to the folder customization section.
3. Pick your folder background color, adjust transparency, etc.
4. Save and apply the theme—your folders should now have the custom color.

Not as simple as before, but it seems to work most of the time..

If you open the folder up and tap the color icon in the upper Right corner?

hmm...this seems a bit more involved now than in UI 6
