How to change the alarm volume level?

Hi all,

First time using android and i am struggling with the basics.

One of the things is: How do i change the volume on the s5 alarm clock? It is EXTREMELY load.

Please help.

Beginning to wonder if i should have pick the iPhone 5s....

When you set the alarm there is a volume slider at the bottom.

I dont have that option on my s5. I only have alarm tone and snooz. When I go into alarm tone there is no such option as well. Can it be a setting somewhere?

You have to scroll down. The volume slider is there. Piece of cake.

Iphone???

the volume slider should be in between the alarm tone and snooze option.

WOW! Now that's plain weird. I'd go back to the store (Verizon?) and pull up the alarm feature on the in-store demo units. If they have the volume slider as one of the tech support guys/gals to look at your phone and fix it or at least explain why that slider is absent on yours.

BTW, where's your AM/PM indication???

Is your phone stock firmware or carrier overhauled? I think it must be a carrier firmware... no idea why they'd take that out though... they do some really strange things when making their own branded firmwares :s

Did you try a restore on the phone and see if that fixes it? The slider should be there.

P.S. - Also try setting up a new alarm. May be something silly like that.

I thought of another work around. Go to play store and download "power toggle" widget. Configure it to include the volume slider. Once you open this it gives you a dedicated volume slider for the alarm.

I love my S5. The easiest way for you to try is Google. Search for " Galaxy S5 Alarm". Several YouTube instructions there to use or: Copy this link: "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fxQbm8ZLnY". Then, press your Windows key and the R key at the same time, paste the link & select OK. Gook Luck

I was having the same problem but thanks to your tip I realize that I needed to scroll down to the bottom of the alarm page

Is your phone in Easy Mode?

Open the clock app, select "Alarm" button on top, touch the "+" sign, scroll down and select volume for that alarm.
