How to change the notification sound of text messages on a Galaxy S20

Message settings on my phone doesn't have a place to choose sounds.

Which message app your using?
Long press the app>tap info>notifications>catagory>incoming message tap

Welcome to Android Central! Another way to get there is Settings>Apps, select Messages, then Notifications. Now tap words "Incoming messages" (not the toggle), then Sound, and change the tone there.
