how to charge a brand new battery

Just bought a new battery for my DX off Amazon. Its the bh6x OEM battery and I would like to know how to first charge it. Every site I look at says something different. Anyone got any insight on this?

I pop the battery in and use it right off the bat til its dead then charge it fully to 100 and go on from there.

Charge it fully before using. Swap it in before going to bed and let it charge overnight.

First of all check if there are any instructions from your "DX of Amazon" or "bh6x OEM battery". Also try to find out its video on youtube or google it. I am sure you will find some useful videos.
