I have a Droid X and today I found out how to power phone up in recovery mode and clear all the system cache. My phone runs really fast after I did that. I want to do the same for my wife's Droid since its kinda bogging down lately. Is there anyway to do this on the Droid or is it only limited to just clearing cache in each app one by one? Thanks!

I had never heard of it until you brought it up. The only cache I clear is the browser cache.

you can do this but the only ways i know of requires root access.

if you root your droid (please only root your device if you know what you are doing and know how to fix it if something goes wrong) and install an app call cachemate, it will do all the work for you. you can also root your phone and reboot into clockwork recovery or sprecovery and clear cache that way. i don't know if there is a difference between the 2 but there ya go. good luck

Reboot into recovery
There should be an option that says "wipe cache partition" or something like that.

No need to root although like the other guy said if you root you can just install apps that will clear the cache for ya :-) hehehe ;-)
