How to control the volume of alarm?

I am able to control volume level for the ringtone, media, notifications and system. How do I control the volume level of the alarm?

Isn't alarms categorized under notifications?

I believe you have to go into the alarm app and set the volume.

I am using the Google Clock app. It does have an alarm volume option but the slider doesn't move. It's almost like it is disabled.

That's the one I use. Have you tried using the volume buttons on the side of the phone?

My phone goes to DND until 7 am while my alarm is at 6. The media volume is disabled during the DND mode.

Are you able to move the slider and control alarm volume within the Google Clock app?

Yes I am able to move the slider with no problem.

Could it be possible the Dnd is keeping you from being able to move the slider? I don't use Dnd so I don't know much about it or how it functions.

Thanks! That was the problem! Its annoying that the volume slide doesnt work in DND as most of the time I setup my alarm before going to bed and by that time DND mode will turned on. Sigh!
