How to copy photos from android mini to laptop

I'm looking for instruction on copying photos from an Android Mini to a laptop running Windows 10.

Using the USB C access power/data transfer cable that came with your device, connect the smaller connector to your device then connect the larger connector to your computer or laptop. The computer/laptop should display an image/icon of the connected device and/or display a message saying that a new device has been connected to your laptop.

Once you've located the device/smart phone (which could be listed as the Android Mini or a series of numbers or letters, one would need to open a secondary window where the photo or picture directory is located. In other words, locate where it is you wish to store any images onto your computer as labeled as pictures or albums etc.

With both screen open and the smart phone's camera app viewable with those images you wish to transfer to you computer in clear sight, Click/Hold/Drag all images over from one screen onto the other where as the albums are located on your laptop.
