How to default to SD for downloads?

Id like to keep app installations to internal memory but when I'm in a web browser and downloading pictures, videos or files I'd like for those to go to my sd card by default. I don't see an option to specify that in 'my files' or anyplace else. Is this not possible?

What browser are you using? For Samsung Internet, Open the app, tap the 3 dots top right, go to settings, then go to advanced, 4th line down says save content to (choose what you'd like)

Ah, I use mobile Chrome. So Google needs to provide this option for Chrome. Surprising the Android version of the app doesn't have this option considering Android is all about options. Would be nice if they could provide this option at an OS level. I guess I'll just have to manually move my files over once in a while.

Try samsungs browser instead of chrome.. it has free ad filtering plugins available, and I find it to be quite a bit faster on the note 8 than Chrome is.
