How to delete auto backup album from gallery

You shouldn't.. :/ I've used a link that I found & it deleted the album without me having to delete all my photos. I can't find the link anymore. If you delete all your photos to get rid of it, it's not worth it b/c it'll come back. It comes back with the link too. I can't help but I can notify you that their is a way with which you won't need to delete all your photos. Btw if it isn't clear; someone posted the link but I can't find it now.

Google+ was using my Picasa app to store the auto backup photos. Went to settings, apps, Picasa, clear all that ****. Now go to Google+ settings and turn that auto backup off if you want. I deleted both Google+ and Picasa. Never used Picasa and Google+ has too many permissions.

Hello,

I am going mad! I cannot delete the auto backup album from my photo gallery. I deleted it from the Photos (Google+), but it is still showing on the gallery. How can I do it please?

Thanks. :-*

Took me forever to figure it out but I got it. Go to settings and under "Accounts" click the Google one then click your email. After that you need to uncheck the box that says "Sync Picasa Web Albums" that way it's not using autobackup and putting them into your gallery at midnight every day. After doing this the autobackup folder will not show up on your gallery anymore. Amen

Can you tell me please, i wanted t delete only auto backup videos and photos not any other folder aur files so with this step is that possible aur not please
thanks

i figured it out! The easiest way is to 1) tap on gallery, 2) press menu button, 3) press content to display, 4) uncheck content in picasa. This will remove the auto backup completely from your device. You should then go on your pc and remove the photos from your google+ account if you dont want them on there either

thank you! :-d

Go into the gallery app then into settings. Select the all or show hidden option then delete the album with those images in it. Alternatively, you may be able to go into system settings > applications > sort by all > camera > clear cache.

Let us know how it goes.

Jeremy, you're awesome. Thank you so much. I was going crazy but thanks to the simplicity of your response, it was as easy as 1.2. 3.

all you have to do is go into your gallery find the settings and then disconnect your google+ account from the gallery
